"You're the Matori Matrix!?"
As Xia You spoke, he glanced back at Looker. Seeing him nod slightly, he knew things had become even trickier.
"Using rockets? You really don't play fair."
"We're the bad guys. Completing the mission comes first." Gozu folded his arms and smiled at Looker. "But I really didn't expect you to be hiding here. We only meant to follow those two idiots and see what they were sneaking around for. To think we'd get an unexpected bonus!"
"Hey, you! Who are you calling idiots!?" Behind them, James and Jessie fled the warehouse in a panic with Meowth and their Pokémon, just in time to hear that remark.
The two of them looked an utter mess, though. Not only were they soaking wet, but much of their hair had been singed as well.
Following them, Kirlia, Charmander, and Squirtle also hurried out of the warehouse.
Jessie pointed at Gozu and shouted, "Ah! I remember you! Aren't you that Watermelon-Rind Glasses woman's underlings? Damn you, how dare you follow us!"
"Watermelon-Rind Glasses!?" Gozu's expression darkened. "You've got some nerve calling Miss Matori that."
"Save it!" Jessie shouted. "This man is our target. You stay out of it!"
"Oh? Your target?" Gozu studied Xia You's mask for a long moment before realization dawned. "I see. So he's Xia You. Excellent! Since they're both here together, that saves us the time of searching. We can take them both down in one fell swoop!"
"What did you say?" James asked incredulously. "You'd disobey the boss's orders and steal our prey!?"
"Idiot." Gozu took out a Poké Ball and threw it onto the ground. "As long as the job gets done, the boss won't care who completed the mission! Go, Aggron!"
