Deep in the mountains near Lavaridge Town, in the southwest of the Hoenn Region.
This was an offshoot of Mt. Chimney, not far from Meteor Falls.

After flying a little longer, the helicopter steadily descended and landed on a patch of level ground.
The man in the copilot's seat turned back toward Xia You and shouted, "The magnetic interference up ahead is severe. We can't go any farther. You'll have to walk from here. Our other team members have set up an observation post ahead. Follow this trail, and you can meet up with them there first!"
Xia You nodded. He and Misty checked their equipment, then jumped out of the helicopter and headed in the direction the man had indicated.
Behind them, the helicopter took off again. Its roar gradually faded, and it soon disappeared into the distance.
Without the deafening noise of the rotor blades, their surroundings finally grew quiet, giving their ears a rest after the noise that had tormented them throughout the flight.
Compared with Mt. Chimney's barren main ridge, this area was noticeably greener.
Not only were there large stretches of trees on the mountains, but grass covered the ground beneath their feet, and wild Pokémon occasionally appeared nearby.
