While Xia You and May chatted in the Rest Room, the five sisters sat together in their dressing room, talking as they removed their makeup and changed clothes.
The eldest sister, Xiaojuan, had just finished entertaining Xia You and May. After leaving the Rest Room, she had gone to the kitchen to give some instructions before returning to the dressing room. Before she could change, however, she saw her youngest sister, Sakura, fumbling about. With a faint smile, she sat behind her and helped her get ready first.
At the far end of the room, beyond the fourth sister, Xiaomei, sat Xiaotao and Xiaoyu.
These two sisters were the closest in age. With so many shared interests and things to talk about, they were naturally the closest of the sisters.
Wiping off her lipstick, Xiaotao turned to glance at Xiaoyu, who was removing her makeup, and hesitated to speak.
Noticing her unusual behavior, Xiaoyu turned to look at her too.
"What's wrong with you? Why do you keep staring at me?"
"I should be asking you that," Xiaotao whispered. "Don't think I didn't notice. Your expression was really off just now. Was it because of Xia You?"
Xiaoyu's gaze flickered.
"Stop guessing. Don't you know me? I'm always like this."
"Oh, please." Xiaotao chuckled. "As if I don't know what you're usually like. When have you ever shown any man a friendly face? You're always completely indifferent. But for some reason, whenever you see Xia You, it's like you're deliberately looking for trouble."
Her sister's words visibly startled Xiaoyu.
Was I really like that?
Thinking about it, she really did seem to have acted that way the last time she saw Xia
