"Mega Stones?"
"Yeah, I already have a Key Stone, so I don't need one of those. But I don't have any Mega Stones."
A Key Stone and a Mega Stone had to be used together, resonating with each other to trigger a Pokémon's Mega Evolution.
Since Meowscarada's Mega Evolution had yet to be developed, the Key Stone from the game was a redundant item for Xin Mu, so he had never used it.
If he wanted to use it now, he would at least have to find a stone that matched his Pokémon.
After all, this wasn't a Tera Orb, a Dynamax Band, or a Z-Move. It had to match the Pokémon's species to work.
Evolution stones were restricted by type, but the requirements for Mega Stones were far stricter.

The vehicle's locator seemed to have suffered some damage during the earlier battle, leaving it only able to provide an approximate
