Buzzwole was caught while it was still showing off its muscles. Xin Mu and his companions hurried over to the fallen Kommo-o and began helping it.

Kommo-o's scales had lost their former luster. Its dry skin clung to its bones, leaving it little more than skin and bone. Buzzwole's special ability had drained almost all the energy from its body.

"We need to restore its strength first, but in this condition... can it even eat?"

Xin Mu took some golden Pokéblocks and Berries out of his backpack and placed them in front of Kommo-o.

It would be best if Kommo-o could still eat. The more concentrated Pokéblocks were pure bundles of energy,

and once they reached its stomach, they could quickly replenish its energy.

If it couldn't, they would have to think of another way, such as an IV drip.

Given Kommo-o's anatomy, however, putting it on an IV would be no easy task.

Still, Kommo-o was the Totem Pokémon here, after all, and had considerable reserves of strength.

As Meownei slowly channeled Aura into its body to stabilize its vital signs, Kommo-o began responding faintly to outside stimuli.

As the scent of the Pokéblocks spread, its nostrils twitched slightly, and a weak growl rose from its throat.

"It's working. Looks like things aren't quite that bad."

Xin Mu selected a few more Pokéblocks suitable for Dragon-type Pokémon, crushed them, and gently slipped them into Kommo-o's mouth.

Kommo-o's throat bobbed as it managed to swallow.

Gradually, its scales regained a little of their sheen, and its breathing steadied.

It struggled to raise its head, fixing its golden eyes on Xin Mu with a look of mingled exhaustion and gratitude.

"Get some rest," Xin Mu said, patting its thick scales before slowly backing away.

A Totem Pokémon represented the local population.
