Well, it's that familiar time again: the novel is going behind the paywall. I'll post three chapters shortly, then another two later, for a total of ten thousand Chinese characters.
As for updates after that...
Those familiar with me probably know my usual pattern: daily updates drop in stages from ten thousand characters to eight thousand, then six thousand, and finally four thousand.
Given my limited abilities, all I can say is that I'll try to update as much as I can, rather than make promises that turn out to be empty again.
I said I'd write a Pokémon novel when I finished Arceus. It was already in my planned lineup.
Overall, I don't want to write anything steeped in suffering and bitter grudges, nor do I want to turn a utopian world into a dark story.
It's just a fairly ordinary, perhaps slightly absurd slice-of-life story. Of course, some of the setting choices are there to give the story room to unfold.
I don't know much about Pokémon Adventures, so the story's future developments will mostly have little to do with it.
There are also some things... if I wrote them, the book would probably get taken down. I think everyone can understand that.
Back in elementary school, I was still playing pirated copies of the Hoenn games in the computer lab. This is my way of writing a world I imagined, and hopefully giving people who find it interesting something to read in their spare time...
And... Meowscarada is the best!
