Night fell.
The Pokéblock maker vibrated faintly as it started working. The Oddish berries freshly picked from the backyard reacted with some medicinal ingredients, ultimately producing a few pitch-black Pokéblocks.
This machine had one distinctive feature: no matter the recipe, the finished product would always be cube-shaped.
The properties of those cubes, however, could vary enormously.
This time, Xin Mu had only made two cubes as an experiment. One was like a mung bean cake, while the other was as hard as an ink stick that needed grinding.
Judging by their textures and properties, the production had been a success.
The cake-like cube was similar to medicinal foods such as eight-treasure cake, but the ink-stick cube had a much more unusual use. Like an ink stick ground down to make ink, it could be ground with a little ordinary vegetable oil to produce a special safflower oil for treating bruises and sprains.
Vegetable oil produced by Pokémon such as Arboliva would naturally work even better, though gasoline was out of the question.
"The prescription seems fine."
Whenever Xin Mu's Pokéblock maker produced something new, it would also generate a prescription and instructions for use. It had been a paid item from an event back then, and its functions were quite comprehensive.
Xin Mu did not mass-produce these ink sticks. Even this small piece would last a while, and it was not all that different from a Normal Potion anyway.
"Come to think of it, I should find a way to expand the backyard. I wonder if the school sells its land."
Because of its location, Xin Mu's house happened to border the back of the school, and this school covered a much larger area than those in a Normal world.
Driving between the two buildings farthest apart took two hours,
