Just then, "Wooo~~" a sound like a tiger pouncing and a dragon roaring arose from ahead of Xiao Hua. Though Xiao Hua was still within the rock wall, the sound actually shook the wall until it trembled, and the radiance around him flickered uncertainly!
"Oh?" Xiao Hua was greatly startled. His divine sense swept out swiftly, and after seeing what lay several hundred zhang away, his brows relaxed. He changed his fleeing direction forward, and when he emerged from the rock wall, he found himself above an enormous lake.
This lake differed somewhat from the ones before it. Only emerald waves rippled across its surface, while very little lake water sprayed forth. Near the center of the lake, however, a fountain more than ten zhang thick and a hundred zhang tall was steaming as it endlessly erupted!
This fountain had only just burst forth from the center of the lake's surface, and that tremendous sound had been produced at the moment it emerged!
"Nothing seems particularly strange..." Xiao Hua watched for a while, spreading both his divine sense and Buddhist consciousness everywhere. Aside from the great billows of steam, which made this place far more stiflingly hot than elsewhere, he found nothing especially suspicious. Just as he was about to take flight, twenty-odd zhang to the left of the fountain, "Wooo~~" another enormous roar rang out, likewise like a dragon's cry and tiger's roar. Within an area of roughly ten zhang, countless bubbles boiled violently. Though the area was small, its imposing might was scarcely inferior to when Setting Sun Island rose from the sea! Another fountain surged up from the lake's surface! It was merely a few zhang high, however, nowhere near as tall as the first!
"This..." As that fountain appeared, another blast of piercingly cold wind rushed
