Xiao Hua smiled bitterly. "Elder, I came from Cangxian Continent and do not understand the language of the Pure Land World. If you have anything to say, please speak slowly!"
"Namo Maitreya Buddha..." The old monk let out a long breath and asked respectfully, "This poor monk is truly overjoyed beyond measure! For a moment, I lost my composure and made Buddha Lord laugh. My Little Linglong Temple lineage has waited here for the descent of the Future Buddha Lord, while also preparing all manner of Buddhist scriptures and secret Buddhist arts for Buddha Lord. We even have Sarira enshrined here. Yet, the Baye Linglong Scripture cultivated by the Future Buddha Lord is not among them! The name of this scripture and cultivation art is not even recorded in the Buddhist scriptures of the Pure Land World. Only Little Linglong Temple has passed it down by word of mouth: Buddha Lord possesses nine lifetimes of karmic ties and can cultivate this art. Thus, Buddha Lord is without question the Future Buddha Lord for whom Little Linglong Temple has waited."
The old monk paused and took another long breath, seemingly calming his emotions before continuing, "Buddha Lord possesses such a fated opportunity and has already cultivated a Buddha Sarira before even undergoing tonsure. But how can a Sarira undergo tonsure? What? A... a... Buddha Sarira??"
Only then did the old monk awaken as if from a dream, struck dumb with shock. His shriveled lips trembled violently, and he could no longer hold the razor.
