Just then, the Great Sun Tathagata World Honored One held up a flower and smiled, uttering true words. Countless heavenly flowers drifted down through the great hall, countless celestial maidens danced through the skies, and innumerable heavenly dragons roamed beneath the hall. The Buddha said, "When broadly proclaiming the great teachings and expounding Miao Fa to all Bodhisattvas, Hearers, heavenly beings, and worldly people, they shall all gather in proper order within the Seven-Treasure Lecture Hall. When the Buddha first teaches the Dharma to all Bodhisattvas, Hearers, heavenly beings, and worldly people, none shall fail to rejoice, find peace in their hearts, and attain enlightenment. Each shall gain according to their capacity. At that moment, a gentle breeze shall naturally rise from the four directions, blowing through the precious trees and producing five hundred sounds... At such a time, joy shall flourish beyond all words."
When the golden body finished speaking, the flowers withered and fell, the celestial maidens wept bitterly, and even the myriad heavenly dragons howled mournfully. They had been moved to tears by overwhelming joy!
"The World Honored One's words are wondrous beyond words..." A devout voice rang out. Above the vast hall, which seemed like the void itself, myriad rays of Buddha light emerged. No one knew how many Buddha bodies that had previously been indistinct now revealed themselves. Among them, an ancient-faced old man pressed his palms together and said, "This Ananda True Scripture has exhausted the trials of suffering. Whoever can comprehend the samadhi within it shall immediately give rise to a Buddha in their heart!"
