As they spoke, the Heavenly Man rode the cloudlight, demonic qi spilling from the bone spear as he lunged at Ao Gou. Ao Gou was first startled, then burst into laughter. Opening his mouth, he released what seemed like endless emerald-green dragon qi. "What an ignorant fool, daring to wield Devil Race techniques within my Dragon Palace! Could it be that you do not know? The dragon qi of our Dragon Race is even more radiant than the Vast Righteous Qi of Confucian cultivators, and is an even greater bane to demonic qi!"
Wen Qu did not know why Xiao Hua had told him to face the South Sea Dragon King, Ao Tong, but in his eyes, the Four Seas Dragon Kings were all much the same. Seeing the Heavenly Man move, he too raised his hand and waved. A streak of sword light shot into the heavens, and he stepped upon seven-colored clouds as he flew toward Ao Tong. Wen Qu cried, "This humble scholar, Wen Qu, has come by order to do battle!"
"Wen Qu?" Seeing Wen Qu's exceptionally pure Confucian true qi, as well as the sword light of a martial cultivator, Ao Tong was somewhat puzzled. Yet he gave it only a moment's thought before extending a dragon claw toward Wen Qu. A phantom dozens of miles wide emerged, crossing the sky and taking the solid form of an enormous earth-yellow dragon claw, sealing off all the space around Wen Qu.
