"Whew..." After stripping the corpses clean, Xiao Hua let out a long breath and smiled. "At least this trip wasn't in vain!"
To avoid arousing Xu Zhi and Fairy Xingyue's suspicions, Xiao Hua hurriedly turned to leave. Yet just as he turned around, he suddenly froze. He quickly released his divine sense again in disbelief. But one of them held a weapon in both hands, while the other held a weapon in one hand, and his other hand... why was it covering the spot beneath his armpit? He was clearly unharmed there, so why cover it? There must have been something he cared deeply about in that spot. Even in death... he still wanted to protect it!
With that thought, Xiao Hua used his divine sense to move the immortal's hand aside and place it on the ground. Then his divine sense seeped into the spot beneath the armpit. It was exceedingly strange. This immortal's shell differed from that of mortals. As Xiao Hua's divine sense entered, the shell actually split apart as though melting away. Immediately, nine-colored radiance blossomed forth. Within the light, an indescribable polyhedron emerged, seemingly within this space, yet seemingly outside it! Of course, the radiance flashed away in an instant, and Xiao Hua immediately collected the polyhedron into his space.
This polyhedron differed from all the immortal artifacts Xiao Hua had previously stored in his space. It fell directly into that space which had yet to take shape!
With the treasure in hand, Xiao Hua did not delay in the slightest. He turned and headed elsewhere, continuing his search for armor, immortal artifacts, belts, and other items.
