Ch. 1141Immortal Mansion Lands

Zhang Xiaohua and the martial artists witnessed the Immortal Mansion descend onto Mount Yao, but its terrifying aura overwhelmed everyone before it landed. When the palace stairs appeared, Li Xu tried to reach them and was killed by Master Yuanming’s Momo Bead, as Bai Yanqiu rejected Master Changsheng’s demand to move Shuiyunjian’s disciples back.

  • The palace’s pressure nearly forced Zhang Xiaohua to kneel, but the Dragon-Tiger and phoenix talismans resisted it until the aura vanished.
  • The Immortal Mansion rotated, descended, and landed on Mount Yao while Zhang Xiaohua made his way near Shuiyunjian’s camp.
  • A staircase extended from the palace gates to the mountain’s foot, and the revealed plaque’s characters filled the crowd with awe.
  • Li Xu rushed toward the stairs, but Master Yuanming’s Momo Bead struck and killed him just before he reached them.
  • Master Changsheng ordered Bai Yanqiu to withdraw Shuiyunjian’s disciples ten zhang, and Bai Yanqiu refused.

Ch. 1142Seeing Ren Xiaoyao Again

The sects negotiated a tense standoff over who would enter the immortal estate first, while Zhang Xiaohua realized the palace bore the same name as his Haotian Mirror. When he took out the mirror, it drew him toward the palace and exposed his identity as Ren Xiaoyao.

  • True Person Haoyue, Master Yuandao, Abbess Shuqing, and others raised magical artifacts to counter Great Forest Temple's forces above the stairs.
  • Abbess Shuqing accused Master Tiangang of causing Shujie's death and agreed to support Divine Blade Sect, then both sides withdrew ten zhang to discuss their next move.
  • Zhang Xiaohua recognized the palace gate's ancient characters as “Haotian” and wondered whether the estate was connected to his mirror.
  • Zhang Xiaohua took out the Haotian Mirror, which flew toward the palace gate and cast a beam of light that pulled him toward it.
  • The palace's seven-colored radiance revealed Zhang Xiaohua's true appearance, and Master Tiangang recognized him as Ren Xiaoyao.

Ch. 1143It Began Descending into Chaos Again

Zhang Xiaohua entered the immortal manor through its palace gate, prompting the immortal sect leaders to fight and the martial world factions to charge toward the steps. The chapter left Mount Yao engulfed in a bloody battle as the sects tried to hold their defenses.

  • Zhang Xiaohua was carried by seven-colored radiance through the palace gate, and Master Tiangang’s Yanfan Wheel failed to stop him.
  • Abbess Jingyi recognized Zhang Xiaohua as Ren Xiaoyao, while Abbess Shuqing and True Person Haoyun joined the fighting against Master Tiangang.
  • The martial world crowd surged toward the immortal manor, and Bai Yanqiu ordered Shuiyunjian’s disciples to block them.
  • The leaders of the Three Immortal Sects and the Righteous Path Alliance sent reinforcements to defend the southern steps, where the only entrance to the manor lay.
  • The factions clashed across Mount Yao, and more than two thousand people died in the slaughter.

Ch. 1144Blood-Red

The Righteous Path Alliance, the Three Immortal Sects, Shuiyunjian, and the Incense-Passing Cult sent their elites into the slaughter as casualties mounted. In the sky, the battle over the steps left many leaders wounded or falling, and the immortal estate turned blood-red and began sucking away the Primordial Qi around Mount Yao.

  • Alliance Leader Zhang asked Master Changsheng, Abbess Jingyi, and Bai Yanqiu to send their forces into the battle after the Righteous Path Alliance suffered heavy losses.
  • Abbess Jingyi launched her Peachwood Sword, and the Incense-Passing Cult's inner disciples joined her in cutting down the attackers.
  • Master Changsheng, Shuiyunjian, and the Righteous Path Alliance committed their remaining elite forces, and the fighting continued as bodies covered the ground.
  • Master Tiangang used the Yanfan Wheel to strike True Person Haoyun from the sky, while True Person Haoyue was wounded by Master Yuanming's Momo Bead.
  • The immortal estate turned blood-red, and Master Yuandao, True Person Haofeng, Master Yuanming, True Person Haoyue, Master Tiangang, and Abbess Shuqing all fell during the renewed clash.
  • The immortal estate flared brightly and drained the Primordial Qi that had gathered around Mount Yao.

Ch. 1145Passageway

As the immortal mansion drained the Primordial Qi from Yao Mountain, the fighting factions raced to decide who would enter first. Zhang Xiaohua entered the mansion alone and found himself on a vast jade passageway, where flight and divine sense were restricted and the path violently repelled him.

  • The immortal mansion’s suction drained the Primordial Qi around Yao Mountain, unleashing black clouds, hurricanes, and snow that disrupted the battle outside.
  • Bai Yanqiu rescued True Person Haoyue, True Person Haoyun, and True Person Haofeng, then persuaded Abbess Jingyi and Master Changsheng to let the Three Immortal Sects enter before Alliance Leader Zhang.
  • Peacock counted to three, and Master Changsheng, Abbess Jingyi, and Bai Yanqiu raced up the steps; Master Chang Geng and Master Chang Xing followed, leaving Alliance Leader Zhang to pursue them.
  • Zhang Xiaohua was pulled through the palace gate by the Haotian Mirror’s radiance and found himself inside the immense immortal mansion.
  • Zhang Xiaohua discovered that flight and divine sense reached only three chi inside the mansion, then stepped onto the jade passageway and was hurled into the air by a powerful force.

Ch. 1146Seven-Colored Passage

Zhang Xiaohua struggled to cross the strange passages and reach the palace inside the Haotian Immortal Manor. He nearly reached its light curtains, but a sudden crushing force pressed him down on the black-and-white passage.

  • Zhang Xiaohua found that the colored jade passages repelled him, then discovered their resistance weakened from purple through red, though he still could not cross them steadily.
  • Zhang Xiaohua used his true qi to stand on the red passage for several steps before its force threw him back.
  • Zhang Xiaohua reached the black-and-white passage beside the blood-colored barrier and slowly began crossing it toward the palace.
  • Zhang Xiaohua continued forward despite growing doubts about the manor's danger, using a Qi Stone to replenish his energy as the passage's resistance increased.
  • Zhang Xiaohua neared the palace's pale white light curtain when the force beneath him reversed and a tremendous pressure nearly drove him into the river.

Ch. 1147The Grand Hall, the Central Throne

Zhang Xiaohua explored the palace beyond the black-and-white passage, found a celestial hall and a restricted herb garden, and discovered a gray road that stirred his true qi. He chose to follow the gray road toward whatever lay behind the palace before Master Changsheng and the others arrived.

  • Zhang Xiaohua passed through the white light curtain and saw a vast celestial space with a seven-colored throne overlooking Yao Mountain and Five Claw Peak.
  • Zhang Xiaohua crossed the grand hall and entered a plain side hall, where he found and took several meditation cushions.
  • Zhang Xiaohua explored a garden of colored soil and Primordial Qi-rich water but found no herbs and could not overcome the plots’ restrictions.
  • Zhang Xiaohua reached a gray passage that his divine sense could not penetrate and felt his meridians and true qi drawn toward the area behind the palace.
  • Zhang Xiaohua decided to take the gray road before Master Changsheng and the others arrived.

Ch. 1148Mysterious Purple Qi

Zhang Xiaohua entered a small diamond-shaped house where immense pressure forced him to strengthen his bones by practicing the Big Dipper Divine Fist, and he captured a thread of mysterious purple Qi with Chasing Meng. His true Qi then urged him toward the round palace, where he arrived before a vast red curtain of light.

  • Zhang Xiaohua entered the little house and found himself pinned down by crushing pressure that sealed his true Qi and divine sense.
  • Zhang Xiaohua practiced the Big Dipper Divine Fist under the pressure, tempering his bones and making the force easier to withstand.
  • Zhang Xiaohua struck a passing thread of mysterious purple Qi with Chasing Meng and absorbed it into the nameless spot in his left arm.
  • Zhang Xiaohua left the little house and followed his surging true Qi through the passage toward the round palace.
  • Zhang Xiaohua reached the enormous palace after hearing a clear bird cry and found a smooth red curtain of light blocking its only entrance.

Ch. 1149Egg-Shaped Palace

Zhang Xiaohua used the Chasing Dreams sword and the flow in his left arm to cut through the palace’s blood-red barrier, entering a vast wilderness filled with enormous, strange beasts. As his true qi continued to run wild, he discovered that he could use Flying Technique again and set off to investigate the cause.

  • Zhang Xiaohua tried a fire talisman, the Haotian Mirror, and the Dragon Binding Ring against the barrier, but none worked.
  • Zhang Xiaohua used the Nameless Sword Moves with Chasing Dreams to cut open the barrier and entered the palace.
  • Zhang Xiaohua found that the palace’s interior was a vast, ancient wilderness inhabited by gigantic unfamiliar beasts, and that his divine sense worked there again.
  • Zhang Xiaohua watched a flying snake evade and withstand the one-horned beast’s lightning before killing it by burrowing into its body.
  • A bird’s cry sent nearby beasts fleeing, while Zhang Xiaohua’s true qi boiled again; he then realized he could use Flying Technique and began walking onward.

Ch. 1150Phoenix Nirvana

Zhang Xiaohua crossed an invisible barrier into a vast basin and discovered that a phoenix was undergoing Nirvana of Fire. As the basin’s flames surged toward the phoenix, they struck Zhang Xiaohua and destroyed his clothing, hair, and flesh while he lay unconscious.

  • Zhang Xiaohua stayed motionless until the giant flying serpent left, then continued across the wasteland past other enormous beasts that ignored him.
  • Zhang Xiaohua reached a depression where white light from objects high in the sky calmed his surging true qi, but an invisible barrier stopped him from entering.
  • Zhang Xiaohua worked out that the barrier blocked objects carrying Primordial Qi, hid his belongings in a boulder crack, and crossed into the basin.
  • Zhang Xiaohua saw a huge phoenix ignite in dark-red flames as it began Nirvana of Fire, and flames rising from the basin struck him before he could escape.
  • Zhang Xiaohua fell unconscious, and a strange fluctuation and countless starlights appeared around him, but his clothing, hair, and flesh were burned away.

Ch. 1151Phoenix Flesh Molding a Body

Zhang Xiaohua’s body was burned away during the phoenix’s nirvana, but his bones, dragon veins, and other hidden powers survived. The phoenix’s reborn flesh formed a human body around his skeleton, and the phoenix spirit was drawn into a black dot behind his head.

  • The nirvana flames incinerated Zhang Xiaohua’s flesh, while his jade-like skeleton, dragon veins, Alchemy Heart, and other hidden treasures endured and absorbed the flames and Primordial Qi.
  • The phoenix vanished into 132 million points of light, which consumed the surrounding space and Primordial Qi before forming new Phoenix flesh within a barrier protected by eight magical artifacts.
  • The phoenix spirit descended with its flesh and fused it to Zhang Xiaohua’s skeleton, forming a complete human body that matched his former one.
  • The phoenix spirit failed to escape the flesh fused to Zhang Xiaohua’s bones and golden threads, then flew toward the black dot behind his head.
  • The black dot released a strange suction force and pulled the phoenix spirit inside.

Ch. 1152The True Form of the Eight Trigrams Purple Gold Furnace

Zhang Xiaohua emerged reborn in the void after absorbing the phoenix, and the formation that imprisoned him broke apart. He assembled seven Eight Trigrams Purple Gold Furnaces into a larger furnace, but the Demon Refining Pot’s lid settled on top and severed his connection to it.

  • Zhang Xiaohua woke naked in the void, discovered the wilderness was gone, and found himself trapped inside the light barrier.
  • After Zhang Xiaohua punched the barrier, the eight magical artifacts examined him, then scattered along with the Demon Refining Pot’s lid and the barrier disappeared.
  • Zhang Xiaohua retrieved his robe and money pouch, found a Xiubei Stele behind an invisible barrier, and discovered that his appearance had changed and the Haotian Mirror had vanished.
  • Zhang Xiaohua recognized the seven depressions around the Xiubei Stele as the Big Dipper and placed his seven Eight Trigrams Purple Gold Furnaces into them.
  • The seven furnaces merged into an enormous Eight Trigrams Purple Gold Furnace, but the Demon Refining Pot’s lid descended onto it and severed Zhang Xiaohua’s connection.

Ch. 1153Town Mansion Spirit Stele

Zhang Xiaohua refined the Town Mansion Spirit Stele, gained the ability to partially control the immortal mansion, and collected ten magical artifacts. As he flew to drive out the intruders, Master Changsheng, Abbess Jingyi, and Bai Yanqiu agreed to race one another into the mansion.

  • The pill furnace flew away, and Zhang Xiaohua discovered he could approach the Xiubei Stele and began refining it.
  • Zhang Xiaohua realized his cultivation had leapt to the late stage of the sixteenth layer of Qi Cultivation, then continued refining the stele.
  • A hidden consciousness attacked Zhang Xiaohua’s Niwan Palace, but his talismans trapped and destroyed it, absorbing its remnants into his core of elixir.
  • Zhang Xiaohua refined about ten percent of the Town Mansion Spirit Stele, shrank it to palm size, and used it to collect ten magical artifacts.
  • Zhang Xiaohua flew toward the intruders, while Master Changsheng, Abbess Jingyi, and Bai Yanqiu agreed to have their disciples guard the stairs as they raced to enter the immortal mansion.

Ch. 1154Storming the Immortal Mansion

Abbess Jingyi raced ahead of Master Changsheng and Bai Yanqiu to enter the Immortal Mansion, while a mysterious blood-red rain drove the disciples below the stairs into a massacre. Inside, she found that the jade passageways were guarded by powerful restrictions and chose the black-and-white route as the others arrived.

  • Abbess Jingyi used a secret technique to overtake Master Changsheng on the stairs, while Master Changsheng stopped Bai Yanqiu from passing and then caught her when she fell.
  • Blood-red light and rain appeared as the disciples climbed, and a Shuiyunjian disciple’s blood let black qi possess a Great Forest Temple monk, triggering a battle that spread among the sects.
  • Abbess Jingyi reached the palace gates first, entered the Immortal Mansion, and was thrown back when she tried the purple and blue jade passageways.
  • Abbess Jingyi avoided the remaining colored routes and headed for the black-and-white passageway as Master Changsheng and Bai Yanqiu entered the mansion behind her.

Ch. 1155The Immortal Mansion's Hub

Abbess Jingyi reached the immortal mansion’s central palace first but found herself unable to leave the black cloud or approach the throne. Master Changsheng and Bai Yanqiu arrived, and as Bai Yanqiu prepared to test the throne with the Demon Refining Pot, Jingyi realized magical artifacts might work inside the palace.

  • Master Changsheng and Bai Yanqiu followed the sect emblems toward the black-and-white passages, while Alliance Leader Zhang followed the Incense-Passing Cult.
  • Abbess Jingyi crossed the jade passage by using true qi to withstand its force, then entered the black light screen and found herself in a vast palace with a lofty throne.
  • Abbess Jingyi tried to reach the throne and a nearby red cloud with a small sword, but both proved intangible, and an unseen force kept her on her black cloud.
  • Master Changsheng and Bai Yanqiu arrived on pale white clouds, and Abbess Jingyi told them she believed the throne was the immortal mansion’s hub.
  • Bai Yanqiu moved ahead of Master Changsheng and brought out the Divine Blade Sect’s Demon Refining Pot, prompting Abbess Jingyi to realize magical artifacts might work inside the palace.

Ch. 1156Pavilions of Every Hue

Bai Yanqiu’s attempt to take the central throne destroyed the Demon Refining Pot and left her badly injured, while disciples from several sects slipped away to explore beyond the throne. Peacock, Chen Chen, and Rain Swallow reached a sea of clouds filled with pavilions and prepared to investigate.

  • Bai Yanqiu sent the Demon Refining Pot toward the throne, but violet lightning destroyed it and injured her.
  • Abbess Jingyi told Peacock, Chen Chen, and Rain Swallow to pass through the black light curtain behind the throne and scout ahead.
  • Alliance Leader Zhang failed to cross the restriction to the throne, while Deputy Alliance Leader Yan reported that Deputy Alliance Leader Chai had vanished after falling into the water.
  • Kongchan and other disciples quietly headed behind the throne, followed by Liang Cangxu and the Shuiyunjian disciples.
  • Peacock led Chen Chen and Rain Swallow through the light curtains to a corridor with six colored passages, and Chen Chen hurt her foot testing a restriction.
  • The three reached a sea of clouds with many magnificent pavilions, and Chen Chen stepped onto a black-and-white prayer mat to search for the Heavenly Dragon Sect.

Ch. 1157Lake, Pavilions

Chen Chen, Kong Que, and Junior Sister Yan entered a white jade palace and found jade slips and strange artifacts they could not remove because of powerful restrictions. They took four cushions and traveled by a true-qi-powered boat to a lakeside pavilion area, where they began investigating what lay ahead.

  • Piercing cries shook the cloud sea and nearly knocked Chen Chen from her cushion before Kong Que caught her.
  • Kong Que, Chen Chen, and Junior Sister Yan reached the white palace and found jade slips and strange artifacts, but their attacks could not break the restrictions protecting them.
  • Kong Que refused to summon the Cult Master, fearing others would take the treasures, and ordered the three to search the hall; they found nothing except four emerald-green cushions, which Chen Chen carried away.
  • The three left through the palace gates and found a vast lake, then boarded small boats that moved when they infused them with true qi.
  • Kong Que, Chen Chen, and Junior Sister Yan reached a pond surrounded by unfamiliar trees and more than a dozen pavilions, and turned toward the foremost three-story building.

Ch. 1158Scouring

Peacock, Chen Chen, and Rain Swallow searched the small buildings in the Immortal Mansion and collected unfamiliar treasures, including two flexible swords. After discovering that the pond’s unusual lotuses could be harvested with those swords, they gathered them and fled toward the palaces as Great Forest Temple and Shuiyunjian arrived.

  • Peacock, Chen Chen, and Rain Swallow searched the small buildings but initially found only everyday furnishings and scattered objects.
  • Peacock told the others to gather portable items, and the three collected jade slips, ornaments, and other unfamiliar treasures.
  • Peacock and Chen Chen each found a flexible sword disguised as a rope, prompting the three to search the buildings again.
  • Chen Chen spotted figures approaching from the palace, while Peacock saw boats carrying Great Forest Temple monks and realized the pond lotuses were unusual.
  • Peacock and Chen Chen used their flexible swords to harvest the lotuses, then fled into the forest with Rain Swallow as Great Forest Temple and Shuiyunjian reached shore.
  • After the newcomers began searching the buildings, Peacock and her companions returned to shore, boarded a boat, and sped toward the palaces.

Ch. 1159The Curious Brocade Handkerchief

Peacock, Chen Chen, and Rain Swallow returned from the far shore with a brocade handkerchief, flexible swords, and fragrant lotus leaves, while the factions struggled to break the Immortal Mansion’s restrictions. The handkerchief swallowed the lotus leaves, but the throne at the heart of the mansion remained untouchable.

  • Peacock and her companions returned to the palace, where the disciples told them the rear-hall restrictions had resisted Abbess Shuqing and other experts.
  • Chen Chen presented a brocade handkerchief that Abbess Shuqing recognized as a treasure capable of blocking divine sense, and Peacock handed over two flexible swords.
  • Abbess Shuqing suspected the fragrant flowers were Nine Heavens Profound Lotuses, and Chen Chen and Rain Swallow stored the oversized lotus leaves inside the handkerchief.
  • Abbess Shuqing ordered Incense-Passing Cult disciples to guard a rack of artifacts, prompting Great Forest Temple, Shuiyunjian, and the Righteous Path Alliance to claim racks of their own.
  • Abbess Jingyi and the gathered factions continued trying to reach the central throne, but no one could touch it, and Abbess Shuqing told her that the Inheritance Disciples had gained benefits.

Ch. 1160Lingxiao Treasure Hall

Chen Chen reported her group’s discoveries to Abbess Jingyi, who explained that their treasures likely came from the Immortal Mansion’s servants’ quarters and discussed the other sects’ failed searches. Zhang Xiaohua then appeared on the central throne, declared the Immortal Mansion belonged to the Big Dipper Sect, and expelled a challenger from the hall.

  • Abbess Jingyi praised Chen Chen, Peacock, and Rain Swallow’s discoveries but warned that they had probably explored quarters for low-ranking servants rather than the Mansion’s important areas.
  • Abbess Jingyi recounted Great Forest Temple’s failed attempt to pass through a Buddha-niche-like room and learned that slaughter beneath Yao Mountain had caused many deaths among the four sects.
  • Peacock asked to investigate the Buddha niche, and Chen Chen handed the brocade handkerchief and its contents to Abbess Jingyi before the three prepared to leave.
  • After daylight broke and the killing below Yao Mountain stopped, a thunderous apparition of a young bald monk appeared above the Immortal Mansion.
  • Zhang Xiaohua appeared on the central throne, identified himself as Ren Xiaoyao of the Big Dipper Sect, and declared that his sect would establish itself in the Yao Mountain Immortal Mansion.
  • When a sect leader challenged his claim, Zhang Xiaohua defended his right to occupy the Mansion and swept the man out of the great hall and beyond Yao Mountain.
