Snorlax closed in on Roserade again with the momentum of Giga Impact. Roserade had been trying to avoid Snore, but Snorlax used that momentum to change direction and bear down on Roserade once more.

But Cynthia knew about this too.
During the earlier battle against Mikuri, Snorlax had already changed the direction of Giga Impact, so she knew that possibility existed. Even with that in mind, Giga Impact was still incredibly fast.
However, Roserade had weathered countless moves under Cynthia's command. Roserade's reactions to familiar tactics were first-rate. The instant Roserade judged that dodging was impossible, Roserade sprang a step backward and struck Snorlax with Energy Ball. Stopping the charge was impossible, but the move greatly weakened its force by the time Snorlax reached Roserade.
Even after taking the impact of Snorlax's enormous body, Roserade managed to stand. Roserade's shoulders heaved with labored breaths, and a great deal of stamina had been lost, but Roserade could still fight. That resolve shone in Roserade's eyes.
"Roserade! Dazzling Gleam!"
Roserade fired Dazzling Gleam into Snorlax's face. Barely able to move because of recoil and paralysis, Snorlax took the attack head-on, and its light momentarily robbed him of his sight.
"Energy Ball!"
The instant Snorlax lost his vision, Roserade repeatedly struck his exposed torso with Energy Ball. The successive Energy Balls wore down Snorlax's stamina. Even with his high Special Defense, repeated attacks would exhaust him.
Snorlax's vision, disrupted by Dazzling Gleam, had recovered, but paralysis prevented him from moving or dodging. He could only take the attacks.
"Sludge Bomb!"
Following the barrage of Energy Balls, Sludge Bomb struck Snorlax squarely, blasting his enormous body away.
