After lunch, Elesa hurriedly said her goodbyes and threw herself back into her busy Fashion Week schedule.
Xia Chi returned with Caitlin to their hotel-the same one where the three of them had met earlier.
As the daughter of a distinguished family from the Sinnoh Region, Caitlin certainly never shortchanged herself when traveling. She, too, had chosen Nimbasa City's finest luxury hotel.
"By the way, Caitlin, did you come to Nimbasa City because of Team Plasma?"
Sitting in the luxury sedan sent specifically to pick Caitlin up, Xia Chi found a topic of conversation.
Caitlin languidly covered her mouth and gave a little yawn, a trace of afternoon drowsiness in her voice. "Mm. To be precise, I came to find you and invite you to help deal with the threat posed by Team Plasma."
"Oh, I see... wait, no."
Xia Chi suddenly realized something and turned to look in surprise at the girl beside him, who seemed ready to fall asleep at any moment.
"Didn't you arrive in Nimbasa City before I did? How did you know I'd come here?"
Skyla was the only one who knew his itinerary included Nimbasa City. He had only contacted Elesa last night, so the timing didn't add up at all.
It also seemed unlikely that Skyla would deliberately tell Caitlin about his whereabouts.
Caitlin lifted her lashes slightly and said lightly, "I have my ways, of course."
Out of respect for the psychic queen, Xia Chi ventured a bold guess. "Don't tell me it's something like Precognition?"
"It's nothing that dramatic."
Caitlin's beautiful, misty eyes swept over Xia Chi, and the corners of her mouth rose almost imperceptibly. "Though... the effect is much the same."
Xia Chi's eyes lit up, his face full of excitement. "I want to learn that!"
Caitlin parted her
