"It's so hot. Good thing these big trees block the sun." Enjoying the natural breeze, the boy prepared pasta for lunch.

Sunlight blazed across the earth, its fierce rays streaming through gaps in the leaves and forming a sharp contrast with the shade. It was high noon, and beneath a tree somewhere along Route 5, a boy named Hibiki had set up camp to prepare lunch.

Hibiki carefully kept the flame low. First, he fried the bacon until its aroma filled the air, then added chopped onions and cooked them until they browned. He poured in some pasta water, followed by fresh Miltank milk he had bought from the elderly couple at the Pokémon Day Care along the way, then added cheese. Once the cheese melted, he tossed in the cooked pasta and sprinkled it with spices. The whole process took about thirty to forty minutes, but the time paid off with a delicious lunch: Cream Bacon Pasta.

"Yoru, want to try some?" The boy twirled some pasta around his fork and held it out to the Mewtwo named Yoru.

"..." Yoru considered it for a while, but the aroma proved irresistible. Finally, Yoru opened up, slowly leaned toward the forkful of pasta, and took it into Yoru's mouth. After chewing, Yoru offered a brief verdict. "It's not bad."

"I know it's delicious." The boy twirled up another forkful of pasta and popped it into his own mouth.

Yoru's gaze never left the plate of pasta. Noticing this, Hibiki set down his fork and tilted his head at Yoru, waiting until Yoru said without a hint of embarrassment, "...One more bite." Delighted, Hibiki twirled up some more pasta and fed it to Yoru.

"Raine, want some too?" Hibiki held a forkful of pasta in front of the bright silver Pikachu.
