Lugia tried to sweep the two approaching Pokémon aside with his wings, only to discover that a thin layer of ice had quietly coated his body, the result of Lapras and Vaporeon's combined attacks. Though it was not enough to freeze Lugia solid, it slowed his movements, allowing Tyranitar and Gyarados to close in with ease.
"Tyranitar! Use Crunch!" Pitch-black light shone from Tyranitar's mouth-the radiance of a Dark-type move. With savage ferocity, Tyranitar sank his massive jaws into Lugia's neck! Lugia roared in pain and tried to shake him off, but with Gyarados interfering nearby and Lapras, Vaporeon, and Dragonite providing cover, he could not escape Tyranitar's relentless Crunch attacks.
"Gah! Golem!" Golem had gathered enough energy and was ready to attack Lugia at any moment. "Tyranitar, Gyarados, fall back! Dragonite, Vaporeon, Lapras, keep restraining Lugia with ranged attacks!" Tyranitar and Gyarados had heard Golem's cry too and were already prepared to clear a path for him. As soon as they heard my command, they retreated beyond the reach of Lugia's wings.
Sensing the energy rising from underground, Lugia tried to take flight and evade it, but Dragonite was ready, pinning him down from above with an even fiercer barrage of Dragon Breath! In the frigid space created by Lapras's Frost Breath and Vaporeon's Water Gun, Lugia's movements slowed, leaving him unable to escape Golem's attack range in time!
"Go, Golem! Use Stone Edge!"
An enormous stone pillar burst up directly beneath Lugia, striking his supple blue abdomen dead-on! Lugia let out a cry of pain and tried to break the pillar with his wings, but before he could move, more pillars erupted from the ground in succession, battering him again and again.
As the pillars rose, clouds of sand and dirt swallowed Lugia's figure, obscuring the Pokémon's view
