The answer was naturally yes. However, the power contained within the Snake Demon God's Demon God Pillar was simply too weak. Even Sol could not guarantee that absorbing all its power would transform Yue Chen into a member of a race capable of breaking free of the Holy Demon Continent's Plane Laws.
Thus, the second path Yue Chen had envisioned was to find a way to obtain a relatively high-ranking Demon God Pillar from the demons and use its power to transform himself into a demon unbound by the Plane Laws.
Defecting to the demons was naturally out of the question. Not only was Yue Chen already wanted by the entire demon race as one of the triggers for their Holy War, but no matter how bad his physical condition became, he had no intention of joining them.
He could not abandon everything he currently had. Besides, given his circumstances, if he really defected, the Demon God Emperor would surely brainwash him into becoming a true "demon."
Naturally, Yue Chen was not naive enough to try obtaining the very highest-ranking pillars among the demons' seventy-two Demon God Pillars to transform his body. For one thing, after learning that Austin Griffin had truly descended upon this plane, those Demon Gods would certainly protect their pillars carefully rather than casually allow them to appear before human eyes.
More importantly, those highest-ranking Demon God Pillars were divine weapons on the level of Great Divine Artifacts or even transcendent divine artifacts. Yue Chen knew his own limits. He reckoned that once he reached the ninth tier, obtaining one of the upper-ranking Demon Gods' pillars among the top twelve should be possible.
The power contained within an upper-ranking Demon God's pillar should be enough to free Yue Chen from the Holy Demon Continent's Plane Laws.
