After nearly nine months, this novel is finished. I originally estimated it would wrap up at one million Chinese characters, and it ended up at 1.02 million-close enough.
Honestly, I hadn't prepared anything when I started this book. I launched it in a bit of a rush, so I ran into plenty of problems and hit a lot of readers' pet peeves. After all, my original goal was just to earn the full-attendance bonus. What I didn't expect was to make it through all four rounds of recommendations. When it went premium, the first chapter got seven hundred subscriptions; that's now up to nine hundred and seventy, and it might reach a thousand before long.
I have so many feelings right now, so much I want to say, but I don't know where to begin.
One million characters. I feel like a total badass-I actually wrote one million characters.
Thanks to my editor, Naipeng, and to all you guys for being with me every step of the way.
I don't know how well this ending turned out. Maybe I'll polish it further if I have time in the future.
My new book, "Douluo: Transmigrating as Huo Yuhao and Finding Zhu Zhuqing," is now at 110,000 characters. Please give it your support, guys. My deepest thanks.
The new book isn't doing too well, and it might not even match this one, so I may end up writing two books at once. I've already finished the title and outline for the other one; I just need to flesh out the details.
