By the time Lind returned to Sky Island with Speka, Feng Yan and the others had already conquered the nearby Angel Island and other islands, gathering their residents in Upper Yard.
Upper Yard's population had reached an unprecedented peak. With so many people gathered there, all they needed was Lind's Teleportation Gate to launch the Great Construction Era.
Lind was in a very good mood about this. As for Speka, his hard-working employee, he could only assume she felt the same.
"Thanks for all your hard work, Speka!" Lind said with a smile.
"Once the Teleportation Gates in all the seas are finished, you won't have to keep running back and forth. With the original gates in place, the maintenance afterward will be much easier."

As a powerful pirate, Speka thought nothing of this little bit of traveling. She even rather enjoyed being carried through the sky by Lind.
Sky Island in particular was a wondrous place that filled Speka with curiosity.
What troubled Speka most was the weakness she felt whenever she exhausted her stamina after building a Teleportation Gate, but even that was only a minor hardship.
Compared to that, being able to build Teleportation Gates and easily travel around the world was far more worthwhile.
Oran Island's vacation policy was still under discussion, but it would not be long before it was implemented. Speka had already made her travel plans for her time off.
That, of course, required finishing the Teleportation Gates in all the seas. Otherwise, with only a few days off, she would not be able to go anywhere beyond the Oran Sea.
