As Shiki's voice faded, several enormous shapes appeared behind him once more.
"What are those?"
"Those are... islands."
As the enormous shadows engulfed G-3 Base, many Marines felt fear grip them and spoke in trembling voices.
"Jihahahaha! Sengoku, accept my gift!"
As he spoke, Shiki swept both hands forward, sending the enormous islands hurtling toward the Marine Base ahead!
"Damn it! Great Buddha Shockwave!"
"Iron Fist!"
"Black Arm: Punch!"
Faced with the islands hurtling toward their forces, Sengoku and the others leading the defense had no choice but to reveal themselves. Regardless of the toll on their stamina, they had to shatter those islands!

As the three men's attacks struck the islands, they instantly shattered into fragments of varying sizes, but those fragments still posed a serious threat to the Marine Base.
"Damn it!" Sengoku cursed under his breath. With no time to worry about anything else, he used Geppo to dart through the air above the base, smashing fragment after fragment to reduce the threat they posed.
But despite Sengoku and the others' desperate efforts, G-3 Base was still all but destroyed by the countless fragments raining down.
All they had managed to do was greatly reduce the casualties and prevent the entire island from being sunk outright. Instead, only some buildings had been destroyed.
"Jihahahaha! Sengoku, how did you like my gift?" Shiki asked with a loud laugh as he watched the somewhat disheveled Sengoku.
"Shiki, don't get too cocky."
"Do you think you're Rocks? This isn't a place where you can run wild. Are you ready for a trip to Impel Down?"
Watching Shiki's arrogant display, Sengoku's expression turned exceedingly grim. The battle had yet to begin, and their base was already practically destroyed. It was an utter disgrace.
Seething with anger, Sengoku stamped his right
