"Who's badmouthing me?" Rayleigh grumbled.
"Hahahaha! Is it some old romantic debt coming back to haunt you? Maybe some beauty's thinking about you," Roger said with a grin, clapping Rayleigh on the shoulder.
"Haha, you might be right. Who can blame me for being so handsome? I'm nothing like certain people." At Roger's words, Rayleigh took a merciless jab at him.
"Rayleigh, looks like I need to teach you what it means to respect your captain!" Roger said with a grin, ready to spar with Rayleigh and remind him why one of them was the captain and the other the first mate.
Before either of them could say anything else, however, the ship's lookout interrupted them.
"Captain, there's a pirate ship up ahead. Judging by the flag, it should belong to Lind, captain of the Rocks Pirates' Seventh Division."
"Any idea whether Lind himself is aboard?"
After hearing the report, Roger fell into thought. If they had spotted the other ship, its crew had probably spotted them too.
If Lind really was aboard, how should he handle it? He had no shortage of bad blood with the Rocks Pirates.
"Captain, they're heading toward us!"
While Roger was thinking, another crew member came over with an update.
"Hahahaha! In that case, we can't back down either. Bring us alongside them!" After thinking it over for a while, Roger ultimately decided to stop thinking.
With his strength, he had nothing to fear anyway. Lind was the one who should be worried.
Meanwhile, Lind had received the news as well.
"Boss, we've spotted a pirate ship. Judging by its shape and flag, it should be Roger's Oro Jackson!"
(I'm not too sure when the Oro Jackson was built, so I just used it here. If it was built later, just assume Tom modified
