On the other side of the Holy Land, the Marines assembled.
Nearly 100,000 officers made up all the troops the Marines could now muster, but their overall fighting strength was several tiers below what it had been during the Paramount War.
Even the Admirals had been reduced to just one.
"This is absolutely awful!"
Aramaki sat alone in the Admirals' seats, his eyes as vacant as an idiot's. He had never imagined that the Celestial Dragons, who were gods, would face a day when their very survival was at stake.

His faith in the World Government rested on the premise that the Celestial Dragons were gods, creators who would never fall from their divine pedestal.

Aramaki nearly slid off his seat and roared in embarrassed anger.
"What's going on?"
"A-Admiral Ryokugyu! It's an earthquake!"
The officer answered in a panic.
The entire Holy Land was shaking. An earthquake was clearly taking place.
Aramaki froze.
An earthquake?
This was the top of the Red Line, ten thousand meters above the ground. How could something as absurd as an earthquake happen here?

Realizing this, Aramaki immediately rooted himself in the ground. His roots kept extending downward, and he soon sensed that the land was sinking.
"Someone who could do this-hiss!"
Aramaki sucked in a breath of cold air.
He wanted to make a run for it!
In the Holy Land, Pangaea Castle.
Crack-crack-
The earthquake grew
