Chapter 94: Sanjiang & Paid Release Notes
The book goes paid next year!
Once again, I want to thank everyone for your tremendous support, which let this novel, despite originally failing to advance, squeeze into a Sanjiang recommendation slot at the last moment.
I also want to thank my editor, Penglai. I don't usually get on QQ much, and I only check WeChat every few days, so Penglai often can't get hold of me and has to wait several days for a reply. Even so, he's still been helping me fight for all kinds of recommendations, and whenever I message him, he always replies very quickly...
My dear editor really does love me!
Enough small talk. Back to the matter at hand.
First is the question everyone cares about most: extra updates when the book goes paid. Of course there will be some. I've already prepared the chapters, though, as is my personal habit, I've naturally kept some in reserve for emergencies. I'll adjust the amount depending on my recent writing pace, but there will absolutely be ten thousand Chinese characters' worth of updates on the first day. There will be extra updates afterward too; how many will depend on how much I can write over the next few days...
Then there's the question I mentioned in the chapter comments earlier. Some readers might have turned those off and missed it, so I'll ask again here.
When the book goes paid just after midnight tomorrow, should I post all ten thousand characters at once, or five thousand at night and five thousand during the day? Also, should future updates stay as they are now, with one chapter in the morning and one at night, or should I post both chapters together?
Next are subscriptions. I never ask for tips or
