A dozen or so minutes later, the plane landed at a S.H.I.E.L.D. base.
Nick Fury took out the ice sphere and went to an open area with Thor.
"Thor, can you take out a single monster while keeping the seal intact?"
Nick Fury asked.
Thor said, "I'll try."
Then he pressed his hand against the ice sphere, and lightning instantly filled it.
Nick Fury could see the lightning cutting through space.
A moment later, the flesh giant was cut out, while the rest remained suppressed.
The instant it escaped the seal, the flesh giant shattered the ice and roared at the sky.
"What are you roaring for? Think you're the only one with a loud voice?"
Thor roared too, as though competing with the giant over who was louder.
Then Thor returned to his true elemental form, towering well above the giant.
Thunder rumbled, and as Thor revealed his true form, the weather in the area changed as well.
The formerly clear sky instantly filled with dark clouds, with serpents of lightning faintly visible within them, creating an intensely oppressive atmosphere.
With a crack, a bolt of lightning struck, hitting the giant squarely.
"Roar!"
It was a roar of anger and pain.
Its surface had already been a bloody mess, but now it was even more gruesome, charred black all over.
Lightning also rampaged inside its body, making it roar and scream at the agonizing sensation and even restricting its movements.
"It doesn't look like much," Thor said casually.
He raised his hand and blasted out another bolt of lightning, making the flesh giant stagger.
The flesh giant that had previously given the Captain and the others trouble was now like a child in Thor's hands.
Without even getting serious, Thor beat it senseless.
