Clack, clack, clack.
A few minutes later, the steam train slowly pulled to a stop at the platform in East Tuck County.
This was Edward's second time taking a train. Although trains in this era were still old-fashioned steam trains, perhaps because Roselle had "invented" them, the overall layout inside the carriages was very similar to the green trains of later generations.
Not long after the two boarded, the train sounded its whistle a few times and slowly began moving, leaving East Tuck County Station.
Edward asked, "Mr. A, what exactly are you thinking?"
Mr. A said calmly, "Emperor Roselle once said, 'Courtesy before force.'"
He paused. "I forgot to tell you. Miss D informed me in advance of her train service, carriage, and compartment number."
Edward understood. "...She deliberately let you find her?"

"This is it."
Before he could raise his hand to knock, the door creaked open, and a hoarse, strange voice came from inside. "Come in, Mr. A."
The compartment was roughly three or four meters in length and width, and its furnishings were quite luxurious. Not only did it have leather sofas, but it also had an expensive carpet and even a small stove.
A short figure, covered entirely in a black robe with a hood that hid even her face, sat on the sofa, holding her gloved hands out to warm them beside the stove.
Edward froze for a moment. Why was this Miss D, who had killed Madam D, so different from what he had imagined?
Mr. A
