Damn it! Haven't there been far too many coincidences lately? But if someone arranged this, wouldn't the arrangements be too deliberate and crude?
The Sea God Scepter had three negative effects in total:
First, it made its wielder irritable.
Second, it periodically drained all the blood from its wielder and everyone within one kilometer, at intervals of twenty to thirty-five minutes.
Third, it gathered and presented its believers' prayers, complete with sound and images. This could easily cause a non-demigod wielder whose spirit was insufficiently strong to collapse and lose control on the spot.
The first and third were no big deal, but the second was rather troublesome-not because it made using the scepter difficult, but because it made keeping it difficult.
If Edward wanted to use the Sea God Scepter, he could use either the Resurrection Ring's [Wraith] ability or his Animagus transformation into an Obscurus without fearing that his blood would be drained.
But where was he supposed to put this thing?
Objects made with the Undetectable Extension Charm were not spatial artifacts from cultivation novels containing an independent space. They were actually connected to the outside world, so putting the Sea God Scepter inside one would still affect the surroundings.
Once he advanced to Sequence 4 and mastered a Secrets Sorcerer's spatial abilities, he could create a Spatial Pocket to store the Sea God Scepter. But before then...
