She dragged the chair over to the bookshelf on the left with some effort, then climbed onto it and began picking up the various objects on the shelves to examine them curiously. Most of them, however, she put back exactly as they had been after only a glance or two.
With nothing else to do, Edward walked over to the bookshelf on the other side and began looking through it as well.
Most of the things on the shelves were useless old objects. Judging by their designs, they seemed old enough to qualify as antiques, while most of the books were written in Elvish, Ancient Feysac, or Ancient Hermes.
Their contents included some fairly valuable Beyonder knowledge, but nothing useful to Edward.
