A man whom Pallez had parasitized had just returned home through the entrance hall when he suddenly saw someone sitting on the sofa. The figure wore classical black robes and a Pointed Soft Cap, his right foot resting on his left leg as he leisurely read a newspaper.
Noticing Pallez's arrival, the man raised his head, adjusted the Monocle over his right eye, and revealed a mocking smile.

Pallez turned to flee.
But the room changed. Pitch-black stone pillars had risen at some unknown point, supporting a towering, magnificent cathedral.
Every pillar, every arch, and every section of the cathedral's dome was inlaid with the bones of different races. Packed tightly together in utter disorder, they stared at the rather insignificant-looking Pallez in the center of the hall with hollow eyes, as though passing judgment.
Amon grasped with his right hand.
The next second, Pallez was sucked out of the man he had parasitized. Then, in despair, he was swallowed whole by Amon, becoming a Sequence 1 Beyonder characteristic that Amon absorbed.
At that moment, Amon turned to look at Pallez and revealed that signature smile again.

Despite knowing it was only an illusion, that final glance from Amon still sent terror through him-even more frightening than watching himself get killed and absorbed by Amon.
