"Mr. F, are you all right?" the attendant asked nervously.
"I'm fine."
Edward said mildly, "But we probably can't use this base anymore. Hurry up and move somewhere else."
"Understood!"
Tossing the Suitcase onto the table, Edward fell into thought:
When it came to dolls and puppets, the greatest experts were undoubtedly those at Sequence 4 of the Church of the Earth Mother, "Life Alchemy," but the corresponding Sequence of the Savant Pathway could just about manage it too.
Just like Archbishop Horamick in the future in Backlund, who actually appeared before others using a doll he had crafted most of the time, while his real body stayed hidden in some unknown place.
Judging by the screws, metal, and springs scattered all over the floor, he could basically conclude that this Tarik was the work of someone from the Savant Pathway. In other words, he was very likely connected to the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery.
And what he knew was that Tarik was connected to "Intis" of the Twilight Hermit Order. Could it be... that "Intis" actually belonged to the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery?
A few minutes later, Edward returned home, entered Sefirah Castle, and began his divination: "The origin of this doll."
He closed his eyes and quickly entered a hazy dream. Someone wearing the white clerical robe of the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery and a cleric's soft cap pointed at the motionless, rigid "Tarik" beside them and said, "Will this doll do?"
A young man dressed in finery said respectfully, "Of course. Thank you, Your Excellency."
"Are you sure you don't need me to infuse it with a 'soul' and turn it into a living being?"
"No need, Your Excellency."
The scene revealed by the divination
