Edward considered how to alter Roselle’s tragic future and realized a covert, century-long deception might satisfy his Sequence 2 advancement ritual, though he doubted it was practical. After sending Roselle away, Edward questioned Amon about entering the Forsaken Land of the Gods and began investigating Amon’s authority; Roselle returned to Matilda, just as a commotion broke out.

• Edward warned Roselle about Adam and the Twilight Hermit Order, then weighed whether Roselle would cooperate in a long deception that could change his fate and fulfill Edward’s advancement ritual.
• Edward sent Roselle away from Sefirah Castle and complained that he still needed another way to complete his ritual.

• The Ancient Sun God explained that the outsider came from beyond the world and made a deal to resist the Oldest One’s awakening.
• The True Creator described how the Primordial awakened within him, leading him to form Rose Redemption and later split into Grisha and Adam.
• Edward wondered whether he was the outsider reborn, but the True Creator said Edward was too clean to have escaped the Oldest One that way.

Meanwhile, Roselle went to Trier Cathedral to scout the Notebook’s location, but his attempt stalled when the Archbishop was away and ended with him accidentally knocking over a bookshelf.

• Edward visited Stiano in the Astral World and asked to borrow the Antigonus Family Notebook from Trier Cathedral, but Stiano initially refused.
