But even when she stood right beside the cage, practically sticking her wand inside, the Lethifold still showed only mild agitation, without any of its earlier unease or fear.
Neither Qiu nor Harry saw anything wrong with the way she cast the Patronus Charm.
But to Professor Lupin, a more experienced wizard, there were actually quite a few small flaws.
Even Harry, who had already thoroughly mastered the Patronus Charm, could not spot these flaws, but they were very obvious to Professor Lupin.
He pointed out these little problems to Qiu, and the next time she cast the Patronus Charm, its light was noticeably brighter. Though it was still nowhere near Harry's, it could at least get a reaction from the Lethifold.
