The enormous vine had more than just the huge leaf where the Champions had obtained information earlier. It also had plenty of smaller leaves.
Of course, they were only small compared with that enormous Big Leaf from before. Even the smaller ones were as big as pot lids. The larger ones were as much as one or two meters long.
At that moment, Jean Gardner had stopped beside a relatively small leaf that lay against the vine. The instant she returned to human form, she cast a Hovering Charm on herself, then lifted the leaf.
Through the Viewing Screen, the spectators saw what she saw.
Behind that leaf was the image of a bright red fruit. Beneath it was a small hole.
The spectators had already seen Champion Blanco exchange a Gemstone for a fruit, so they could understand what this meant.
So the Champions had to look for markings like these on the vine?
Although the bright red fruit image seemed conspicuous, it would be difficult to spot if a leaf covered it. And there were a great many leaves on the vine.
