Harry was startled at his first glimpse inside.
So many people.
Such a huge place.
After passing through the blue Viewing Screen, Harry found that the space inside was far larger than he had expected.
Beyond the blue light lay an enormous sunken circular arena with a radius of over a hundred meters. Tier upon tier of seats surrounded it, rather like a large university lecture hall, only bigger.
At that moment, this "large lecture hall" was cluttered with miscellaneous objects, mostly everyday necessities by the look of them, but broken pieces were scattered everywhere. More than three hundred people were fighting fiercely in the space.
The Death Eaters had considerably fewer people than even the worst-case estimate.
There appeared to be only a dozen or so Dark Wizards, a little over a dozen vampires, and roughly forty or fifty werewolves, though there were more than a hundred black goblins.
But by the time Harry entered, more than half of those hundred-odd black goblins had already fallen, all in less than two seconds.
Well, although black goblins were more aggressive and savage than goblins, these creatures were poor at magic. They relied only on reasonably swift movement, ferocity, and numbers to bully weaklings.
Against an army of well-prepared wizards, they collapsed at the first clash, suffering devastating casualties.
But Harry did not let his gaze linger on the black goblins, pitiful though they looked at that moment. He knew that these creatures not only lured travelers who lost their way in forests, but also particularly enjoyed eating children's organs.
Harry would not have felt sorry even if every last one of them died.
What held his attention was the battle at the very center.
There, more than ten wizards were surrounding and attacking a pale-skinned, black-haired man.
