Nika was considered fairly wealthy within his own dimension.
But even he did not have such an abundance of energy crystals, and he was extremely frugal whenever he used them.
As for using them to power so many magic arrays, that was practically unheard of.
Yet Kamar-Taj had actually gone and used them directly in its magic arrays.
This was far too extravagant.
Of course, because energy crystals provided stable energy, they were highly effective in advanced arrays. But when it came to actually using them, very few people could bear to do so.
Nika could not help sighing in wonder.
Hearing Nika's words, Mordo felt a sense of pride. After all, sorcerers like them naturally competed with one another in secret.
Even so, he did not let it show and said,
"We were just lucky enough to get some recently. If you need any, Sorcerer Nika, we can trade some with you when you leave!"
At Mordo's words, excitement appeared on Nika's face. "Do you mean that?"
After all, energy crystals were far too precious. Under normal circumstances, even if you wanted them, you might not be able to obtain any.
What sorcerer or anyone else would not want something like that? Once they obtained it, they would not readily part with it.
No matter how high a price was offered, they would almost never put it up for sale.
Even bartering depended on personal connections. Trading something like this for anything else was a losing proposition.
Yet now Mordo was actually willing to trade with him. He was doing him a favor.
The crucial point was that such resources were far too precious. Compared with something like this, what did a favor count for?
"Of course. I wouldn't joke about something like this!"
Mordo spoke with utter seriousness.
