After Captain America rendezvoused with Tony Stark, the group began searching for Atum using the technology S.W.O.R.D. had given them.

Atum had once been a god, and they did not actually think modern technology could easily locate him.

Tony Stark was not wearing his nanotech Armor at that moment. Instead, he turned to Thor.

"Since Atum devoured so many gods back then, he must have come to Earth this time for the gods of Ancient Times!"

Hearing Tony Stark's words, everyone turned to look at Thor.

After all, Thor was the only god they knew.

"Why are you all looking at me like that?"

Seeing everyone looking at him, Thor felt his scalp tingle.

"Thor, I think if we can't easily find Atum, you might have to make a sacrifice!"

Hawkeye smiled. "I'd actually like to make that sacrifice myself, but I'm afraid he wouldn't be interested in me, so you'll have to do it!"

Although Hawkeye was teasing him somewhat, what he said was true.

Thor felt rather disgruntled, but he knew there was no other way.

And Atum really was a problem. Rather than let him keep hiding on Earth and leave them fearful, they might as well lure him out.

"Instead of looking for a needle in a haystack, let's do that!"

Captain America spoke after a moment of silence.

If possible, he naturally did not want his teammates to take risks, but there was clearly no other way now.

"Hawkeye, head for a remote, uninhabited mountain area to avoid causing mass panic!"

Captain America gave the order.

Hawkeye acknowledged him, then headed toward the dense forest outside New York.

New York had yet to fully recover from the previous incident. If another conflict broke out there, its residents would probably go mad.

"How about up ahead?"
