As Wang Yang watched the energy rush toward him, he seemed to sense more than one powerful creature's
presence within it.
"Hulk, go on ahead. I'll deal with them."
Wielding the Vishanti Holy Sword, Wang Yang shot into the sky as he spoke.
Hulk nodded without lingering, pushing off with both legs and leaving in the opposite direction.
The Vishanti Holy Sword in Wang Yang's hand collided with the dark red energy. After a half-second standstill in midair, a violent reaction erupted. The ground beneath them cracked apart, and surging lake water seeped up from underground.
A pale red ripple spread through the air like lightning, making a rushing sound.
The ripple spread in every direction, whipping up raging air currents wherever it went. The lake evaporated and the earth cracked, creating a scene like the end of the world.
Wang Yang's gaze sharpened. The energy Doctor Strange had unleashed was so powerful that it had actually blocked his sword strike.
After a long while, the shock wave dissipated. Black Bolt returned to the battlefield, joining the gradually emerging Doctor Strange in facing off against Wang Yang.
Beneath their feet, Lake Erie had evaporated completely under the shock wave, exposing the dry lakebed beneath its waters. A layer of earth along the shore had also been shaved clean away, and the wind swept dust and sand into the sky.
