"Kakashi-sensei, what should we do now?"
After retrieving all the Pent 42 Mechanical Guards, Naruto Uzumaki asked Kakashi Hatake with a sheepish look. The latter, however, was rolling his eyes at him. The whole reason they had ended up in the past was that this boy had been so impulsive that he had had no choice but to follow him to protect him.
"Even Queen Sara can't help. The people of this era can't precisely control the power of the dragon vein. Even the Daimyo hasn't fully figured it out, which is why he made that place off-limits."
Kakashi Hatake spoke helplessly. He was just a Guardian Ninja, not a member of the research department. This was even his first time traveling through time and space. How could he possibly know what to do now?
"There are only two options now. We can wait near the dragon vein. Once Lord Daimyo learns that you were swept into it, he'll definitely find a way to save you. The other option is to find Lord Daimyo, but I'm not sure whether the Daimyo has researched the dragon vein at this point..."
Naruto Uzumaki's eyes lit up, and he declared without hesitation, "Then what are we waiting for? Of course we're going to find Dad!"
"After hearing your decision, I think we'd be better off waiting here. This is the middle of the Third Shinobi World War. The Land of Fire hasn't unified the shinobi world yet. We'd better not wander around!"
With that, Kakashi Hatake waved Naruto off and prepared to go back and tell Queen Sara that they would be staying near the dragon vein for a while.
Hearing this, Naruto Uzumaki immediately changed his expression. He stepped forward, hugged Kakashi, and pleaded, "Kakashi-sensei, I'll absolutely follow your orders this time.
