Karn asked casually. His last visit had been three years ago. Although Red Queen recorded everything that happened during that time, the sheer amount that had piled up left him with little interest in reading it all.
The one thing he could be certain of, however, was that nothing unexpected had happened to Umbrella. He and Alicia remained Red Queen's highest-priority controllers, and no one could change her authorization hierarchy.
"Miss Marcus is currently attending school in Japan. We tried to persuade her otherwise, but she insisted, so we had no choice but to increase our investment in Japan. Still, it serves perfectly as a springboard into Asia. At present, we-"
Karn quickly waved his hand when he heard this. "All right, all right, you don't need to tell me about that. Call a meeting. I have something new to announce."
Umbrella was now enormous, with over three million employees and an armed military force of more than fifty thousand. Only after swallowing the assets left behind by Stark Industries and Hydra had the Pent Group caught up in size with Umbrella in the Resident Evil World.
Only the regional presidents and the CEOs of a few important companies attended the meeting Karn called. If every company's CEO attended, the holographic meeting would need more than three hundred seats.
He needed a wide variety of things produced. The new-energy weapons and mechanical combat guards alone would number around thirty thousand units, and synthesizing the metals would also take considerable time. There were also gene serums and other things. For the coming period, fifty percent of Umbrella's workforce would be serving Karn alone.
But no one dared oppose his orders.
