At that thought, Kurenai Yuhi struggled to get up, made her way to the small round table, and picked up the document on it. Only after reading it carefully did she let out a long breath.
Two years was all right. It would pass in the blink of an eye.
She knew there was no way Asuma could be released immediately. That would be a slap in the face to the Federal Land of Fire. But a two-year sentence of penal labor, without any heavy work, meant Kurenai Yuhi's arduous efforts had not been in vain.
There was also a glass of water and a note from Karn beside the table. After reading it, Kurenai Yuhi could not help biting down hard on her lip. She still had to endure another two years...
