"What the hell are you trying to do?!"
Piccolo and the others were terrified by Karn's actions. An explosion of that magnitude, with a little control, could reach the Earth's core and blow up the planet.
But before Piccolo's group could decide what to do next, a figure suddenly appeared in front of them. A closer look revealed that it was Son Goku.
"Piccolo? Vegeta, and Krillin too? Why are you all here? And why did I just sense such destructive ki coming from Earth?"
Son Goku questioned them in confusion when he saw Krillin and the others. He had wanted to surprise them, but something unexpected had happened instead.
Piccolo asked in surprise, "Son Goku? Why did you suddenly come back?"
"My ship was still out in space, but I sensed some destructive ki coming from Earth. I was worried you were in danger, so I came straight back with Instant Transmission. It took me a whole year to learn that technique. It's pretty amazing. Oh, who are those two?"
Only halfway through speaking did Son Goku notice the two strangers, Trunks and Karn, and he turned his head to ask Krillin and the others.
But Krillin simply shook his head. "You don't know? They're both here to see you."
Son Goku scratched his head in surprise. "Me? But I don't know them."
"Mr. Son Goku, I'd like to speak with you alone."
Trunks stepped forward, wanting to tell Son Goku about the future in private. His purpose was much the same as Karn's: both wanted to keep Son Goku from falling ill. But before he could finish, Karn stopped him.
