Green exhaust flames sliced through the night sky.
Having escaped with his life, Norman cackled in excitement.
"Gahahaha! As long as real demons still exist, the demon army will be endless.
You damned bugs will pay for everything you've done!!"
Green Goblin laughed arrogantly.
The next second, a hand reached up along the Glider and grabbed Norman's ankle.
"What?"
Startled, Norman looked down to find that the red-and-blue figure had climbed onto the Glider without him noticing.
"Oh, shit! You damned bug, die!!"
Norman angrily raised his foot, trying to kick the relentless Spider-Man out of the sky.
But Mark had already activated all his skills.
"Whoosh!"
Webbing shot out, and Mark slipped past Norman's kick like a ghost, then used the web's elasticity to swing onto Norman's shoulders.
"Whoooosh!"
Fierce winds howled high above the ground. Mark clung to the Demon Dragon's horns, fighting to withstand the gale.
"Evil Demon Dragon, you won't escape today!"
With that, Mark raised his fist to smash the Demon Dragon's head.
"Boom!"
The next second, the Demon Dragon rolled wildly through the air. Unable to keep his footing, Mark felt the world spin around him.
A violent sensation of weightlessness hit him, and the Demon Dragon flung Mark out of the sky.
"Gahahaha! You lowly bug, the sky belongs to demons! You can't beat me!!"
Having shaken Spider-Man off, Norman shrieked in excitement.
But soon, the Glider beneath his feet gave a sharp shudder. Webbing swept upward, and Spider-Man locked onto the Demon Dragon again.
"A great demon hunter doesn't die that easily!"
Mark gripped the Glider tightly and smashed its propulsion unit with a punch.
Boom!
"No!!"
Norman cried out as the Glider burst into flames, then streaked diagonally toward the neon-lit city, trailing black smoke.
"Bastard, get your filthy hands off!"
Norman crouched and flicked out the blades in his arm guards, determined to sever Spider-Man's arms.
But as the Glider plummeted, both of them slammed into the corner of a high-rise.
Crash!!
The tremendous impact blasted chunks of masonry from the building's corner, and pedestrians below screamed and fled.
"Oh my God, it's Spider-Man and Green Goblin!"
"Run..."
People farther away hurriedly filmed the scene on their phones.
Through their lenses, Spider-Man and Green Goblin slid down the building's glass facade after crashing into it.
Shattered glass rained down along their path.
But Green Goblin drove both arm blades into the facade, forcibly anchoring himself to the smooth glass.
Above him, a red-and-blue figure flashed past, appearing beneath Green Goblin a second later.
"Hey, evil Demon Dragon! Today, I'll make this cliff your grave."
Mark leaped onto the glass facade and stood as easily as if he were on level ground.
At that moment, both of them seemed to have broken free of Earth's gravity.
Already consumed by rage, Norman immediately pulled his blades free and lunged viciously at the detestable bug as he plunged downward.
Facing the Demon Dragon's desperate counterattack, Mark didn't dare let his guard down.
Quick Movement!
Jumping!
Dodge!
His skills activated. Mark let his feet slip, dropping along with Green Goblin to evade his attack.
"Die!!"
"For the glory of demon hunters!"
Bang!
Amid a series of thunderous impacts, the two slid down the glass facade, locked in combat and leaving two trails of violent destruction behind them.
As they fell, the Demon Dragon and the demon hunter clashed at close range. Sparks flew, and the red-and-blue figure leaped away, swinging on a web over the Demon Dragon's head.
"Shit!"
As Spider-Man vanished from his sight, Norman felt the rush of a fist coming from behind.
He barely managed to turn, watching helplessly as the fist rapidly grew to the size of a sandbag in his vision.
Norman was certain that if that punch landed, he was finished.
Suddenly, the golden pupils beneath his demon mask contracted.
Norman saw hope.
"Hum!"
The space beside Spider-Man abruptly tore open under an unknown force. The shattered space condensed into a gray blade that shot straight for Mark's throat.
"A sneak attack!"
Warned by his Spider-Sense, Mark cursed his opponent for fighting dirty.
Sensing a demonic presence, he abandoned the Demon Dragon without hesitation. He leaped clear of the gray blade and counterattacked with a backhand shot from Liana's Holy Light.
Bang!
A gunshot rang out. The black-robed figure who had just leaped from the portal grunted and fell from the air.
But a moment later, more black-robed figures flew out. With flicks of their hands, they formed Dark Blades and swooped toward Mark.
"What?"
Mark saw a group of sorcerers riding brooms!
[Dark Soul Fighter Demon] [Level: Dangerous Class]
"Shit, is this the Dark Soul Fighter Demon's true form?"
With demons closing in, Mark didn't dare take any chances.
He knew he was no match for these guys, so he kept activating his acceleration and charged toward the Demon Dragon, who had reached the ground.
Demon Hunter-Holy Light Fist!
Boom!!
Holy light erupted, and the punch swept in right on cue.
But Green Goblin suddenly vanished from the spot.
The next moment, he appeared beside a fountain ten meters away.
A man with severe dark circles under his eyes was waiting for him there.
"Who are you?" Norman remained wary.
The corners of the man's mouth lifted into an eerie smile. "We're the Dark Magic Sorcerers. We're here to save you."
"Sorcerers? Save me?"
Norman frowned. "I only believe in science. Do you think I'm some senile old fool who'll buy health supplements?" He gave a scornful laugh.
The man shrugged. "You saw it yourself. My portal saved you."
Norman's heart sank at those words.
He turned to look at Spider-Man, who was surrounded and attacked by the black-robed sorcerers, and found himself wavering.
With a simple wave of their hands, those sorcerers could open a strange Mirror Dimension and trap Spider-Man inside.
That didn't seem like something technology could accomplish.
Norman reluctantly accepted that the man was who he claimed to be.
He said coldly, "Are you after me?"
"Not just you."
The man smiled sinisterly and turned to look at Mark.
"In Kamar-Taj's prophecy, this lunatic will ruin
the master's plans, so I've come here to eliminate him.
And you, Norman Osborn. The master is very fond of your wickedness."
He looked at Norman. "Become the master's servant, and you'll obtain everything you desire."
"Servant?"
Norman laughed in anger. "I'm a terrifying demon..."
Before he could finish, the man raised his hand and sent Norman flying with a blast of dark magic energy.
Boom!!
The tremendous force smashed Norman into a wall. He couldn't resist at all.
"You..." His eyes widened, unable to believe any of this.
The man sneered. "Norman, you have no idea what real demons truly are."
Norman stared fixedly at the dark energy swirling around the man's palm, unable to utter another word.
This completely overturned everything he thought he knew.
Sorcerers, demons-where had these guys come from?
Before he could respond, Mark found himself locked in a desperate battle nearby.
"You damned Dark Soul Fighter Demons! Bruce, where are you? Get over here and help me!!"
As Mark roared, holy light burst from the hand of a black-robed figure who had just charged toward him. A moment later, it streaked past Mark and struck another black-robed figure in the chest.
Shhk!!
The Demon-Hunting Dart pierced the black-robed figure's body, and holy light dissolved him completely.
"What?"
The sight sent a wave of horror through the black-robed figures present.
None of them understood what had happened.
