Lu Chen revealed the Beyonders’ plan to destroy all life in the omniverse and declared his ambition to seize creation’s authority from the Colored Celestials. On Earth, Apocalypse convened the Dark Alliance and unveiled Shadow Armor as its weapon against the Avengers and their allies.

• Lu Chen explained to Death that the Beyonders planned to destroy the omniverse to weaken the Five Great Creator Gods and draw out the First Firmament, then called the catastrophe an opportunity to overthrow the Colored Celestials.
• Lu Chen and Death became intimate in Death’s realm.
• Augustus learned which dark forces had answered the Vampire Clan’s call, including a powerful jiangshi, and announced the Dark Alliance’s first meeting.
• Apocalypse introduced himself as the Shadow Dimension’s representative and urged the assembled leaders to unite against the Avengers, the Sanctum Sanctorum, and Wakanda.

Lu Chen persuaded Seventh Eternity to ally with him by revealing his peak omniverse-level power and promising Eternity the Seventh Omniverse in exchange for its authority of creation. As Lu Chen continued preparing for his conflict with the Colored Celestials and the Beyonders, Wu Fengji hit a bottleneck in her Phoenix Armor.

• Seventh Eternity explained that the Colored Celestials had divided his authority of creation among Mutants and other races, leaving him too weak to resist their control.
• Lu Chen demonstrated his peak omniverse-level power and offered to help Seventh Eternity become the true Creator God of the Seventh Omniverse in exchange for a portion of the authority of creation.
• Seventh Eternity accepted Lu Chen's offer and learned that Lu Chen was also working with Death and Galactus.
• After Lu Chen left, Seventh Eternity wondered at the existence of other cosmologies beyond the Marvel Omniverse and questioned who Lu Chen really was.

Captain America and Stark arrived in the Celestial Empire and narrowly escaped the shockwave of Xiao Yan’s battle with Ancestor Fentian. After Xiao Yan destroyed the Fentian Sect, he discovered the two hiding in folded space and demanded they come out.
