Everyone atop the Wall held their breath and watched the flame-wreathed spear trace a strange arc toward the White Walkers.
Bang! The obsidian spear hurtled through the air, then punched violently through a White Walker's armor.
Bang! A second obsidian spear followed, howling through the wind, unstoppable with its tremendous force.
The White Walker let out a strange howl, but even as he raised his Frozen Crystal Longsword with a whistle, he could not stop the flame-wreathed obsidian spear.
The Ice Elves roared and tried to pull out the spear with fingers as pale as bones. Instead, the spear began giving off vapor, and within a few breaths, the White Walker began to smoke and dissolve.
The other White Walkers watched their companion die without reacting.
"Long live the king!"
"Long live Storm!"
Cheers rose in waves from atop the Wall.

Gendry hurled two obsidian spears, driving them straight through two White Walkers with tremendous force.
His scale armor shone with a reddish-gold light, especially bright in the night.
Seeing things turn against them, the remaining White Walkers concealed themselves in the white mist again. They were intelligent Ice Elves, after all.
"Dragonfire!" Gendry commanded. Balerion's surging, swirling black-and-red dragonfire began sweeping across the ground, leveling everything like a bright brush.
Wights were relatively slow and clumsy, and generally could not perform difficult attacks.
To give an example, Gendry thought wights had low defense but high damage tolerance, with low attack speed and movement speed.
Wherever the dragonfire swept, snowbear wights and shadowcat wights were all wiped out.
But another flock of undead birds arrived.
