"Things have changed. Withdraw first."
Konan suddenly heard a voice behind her.
It was that man, the mysterious man who called himself Madara Uchiha.
And the lack of any other response proved that Nagato had not objected.
So Konan immediately made her move...
Tsunade stayed on guard, already prepared for the worst.
But to her slight surprise, her opponent did not attack her. Instead, Konan formed a pair of paper wings and flew into the sky.
"At that height... there's still time."
Tsunade narrowed her eyes slightly, weighing whether to knock her opponent straight out of the sky.
Although she did not want to be used, she could not let her opponent go so easily when rescuing Shizune was at stake.
But just as she crouched slightly and the ground beneath her feet began to crack, a voice instantly stopped her.
"Lady Tsunade!"
Tsunade immediately looked back and saw Shizune leaning against a wall, clutching her stomach, her face pale.
Tsunade glanced at Konan in the sky again, but in that brief moment of hesitation, her opponent had already put some distance between them.
At that height and distance, stopping her from leaving would no longer be easy.
Tsunade could not help sighing and chose to give up.
"Shizune, how are you? Are you hurt?"
Tsunade immediately went over to Shizune and asked with concern.
"I'm all right. I was just knocked unconscious. When I woke up, I was nearby. Then I heard the commotion and immediately came looking for you."
Hearing that, Tsunade knew that, just as she had suspected, that man had deliberately lured her here.
But what exactly was his purpose?
Tsunade could not quite work it out, nor did she know what consequences her actions had caused.
