The Kubikiribōchō!
That was the Kubikiribōchō!
Suigetsu was incredibly excited. At the thought that the Kubikiribōchō had just sliced across his neck, he was so happy that he... gave a little flop (a feeble one), like a fish stranded on shore and nearly dried out.
As a child, Suigetsu had been a prodigy known as the "Demon of the Mist reborn," with a powerful obsession with "cutting things off."
His fighting methods were even crueler than those of that Demon of the Mist. In battle, he always cut off his enemies' hands and feet before beheading them!
Honestly, being stared at with eyes that went all "sparkle, sparkle" was rather stressful.
Shinji had no idea what was wrong with this guy or why he was suddenly staring at him so fixedly.
But he had no time to bother with the brat right now.
Never mind that Orochimaru had been taken out by a single glance from Itachi... (Orochimaru: "You're never fucking letting that go, are you? Do you have to drag it out every chapter and beat that dead horse again? Please, try being a decent human being!")
It made him look like a weakling, but Orochimaru was actually very strong.
For example, the man who had once competed with Orochimaru for the Hokage position was named Minato Namikaze, otherwise known as the Yellow Flash.
If that was not clear enough, here was another example.
Fourth Kazekage Rasa had died at Orochimaru's hands.
Whether it had been an ambush or a group attack, killing a Kage-Level Strongman while remaining essentially unscathed was enough to prove his strength.
Looking over Orochimaru's lifetime battle record, it was actually quite impressive, with scarcely any defeats. Unfortunately, he kept stumbling over a pair of brothers, especially the older one, who had once taken Orochimaru
