To silence certain people, Mei Terumi even used her authority to give him the position of External Consultant. It came with no salary or authority, but from then on, Kubikiribōchō was officially his to use.
As thanks, Mei Terumi also sent someone over with five Cursed Objects.
They were mostly items of little use with nasty side effects, including the two unidentified Cursed Objects Shinji had seen that day. The [Crystal Heart] was among them.
Shinji suspected Mei Terumi had sent it deliberately. Perhaps she had noticed him spending longer examining that Cursed Object.
Naturally, he dispensed with false politeness and happily accepted them.
By now, he had more than ten Cursed Objects. He planned to sort through them properly and either fuse the ones he couldn't use or sell them for "money."
Before that, however, he planned to do some serious draws. After all, he had amassed a full 86,800 cursed soul points!
The three Special Grade Cursed Spirits alone had contributed 60,000 of those cursed soul points, along with four Domain Fragments.
This led Shinji to discover a new highway to riches.

Of course, that was only a pattern he had pieced together from his few previous draws, so it wasn't necessarily accurate.
