Chapter Summaries

Shinji and his allies infiltrated the Hokage Building while Pain fought Jiraiya, then reached the conference room and seized Konoha leaders Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura. Sasuke learned they still blamed the Uchiha Clan for the massacre and killed them with Amaterasu.

• Shinji used Cursed Speech to silently incapacitate guards as he led Hidan, Sasuke, and the others into the Hokage Building.
• Sasuke used his Sharingan to question a clerk and learned the Konoha High Command was on the top floor.
• Shinji attacked the conference room with Blood Manipulation: Supernova, and Sasuke overpowered Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura.
• Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura blamed the Uchiha Clan for the massacre and revealed that Itachi had protected Sasuke from them.
• Sasuke broke their limbs and burned Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura alive with Amaterasu.

Sasuke burned Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura alive before leaving with Shinji, still consumed by a desire for more destruction. Meanwhile, Jiraiya fought Pain Deva Path as Shinji and Hidan broke into Root’s base, where Hidan began slaughtering Danzo’s forces.

• Sasuke used Amaterasu to burn Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura, then told Shinji he wanted to move on to the next target.
• Jiraiya summoned Fukasaku and Shima and began preparing Sage Mode to fight Pain Deva Path, who pulled him in with Banshō Ten'in.

• Sasuke struggled against Shinji’s Wood Release restraints while Yamanaka Fū’s weapons were intercepted by Shinji’s Blood Manipulation.
• Yamanaka Fū’s puppet-based attack failed when Moqian crushed the puppet, and Moqian then punched him unconscious after his Mind Body Switch Technique also failed.

• Shinji used his Heavenly Blue Eyes to locate Danzo, while Sasuke destroyed the secret passage with Susanoo and confronted him.
