Consider this a short end-of-volume afterword.
First of all, this was my first time writing fiction at such high intensity for so long.
My output was very slow, actually far slower than that of other writers.
Not only did I type slowly, but I also often started spacing out and getting distracted while typing. Especially when looking things up or checking the original work, I would frequently end up reading it all over again.
Neither my speed nor my concentration was very good.
Then, before every update, I had to check again for typos and awkward phrasing.
That made updating every day a torment and an ordeal in terms of time.
Until recently, when I started trying voice input.
And using Qidian's official Writer Assistant.
Those two things really deserve a lot of credit.
They improved my typing/dictation efficiency by at least 20%.
Now, let's talk about how this book has done.
Those of you who read my note when the book went premium should know that, at the very beginning, I only wanted to write something with an average of one or two thousand subscriptions.
Basically, I wanted to earn a living on the side after work.
After all, this subject was never particularly popular on Qidian.
The vast majority of books that came up in a search for Demon Slayer had results that were painful to look at.
The only two with somewhat respectable results were Tanjuro Returns as a Demon Slayer and Demon Slayer: I Am a Demon.
(Strictly speaking, Giyu Is Not Hated counts as a Naruto story.)
There were very few books on this subject.
If you're interested in Demon Slayer, you could actually give those books a look too.
(Though I don't know any of the authors, so this doesn't count as advertising.)
