In the end, I wrapped things up at chapter [567].
I suppose I forced in one last lame joke.
These past two days have been so busy that even this afterword had to come a little late.
Though I actually started preparing it three months ago. Quite a few of you Yanzus already saw me say at the end of volume three that the next volume would be the last...
I have mixed feelings.
This was my first time officially finishing a book.
And with just one book, I reached level 5 on Qidian in seven months.
Over 20,000 subscriptions on the most-subscribed chapter, over 10,000 on average, and if you count the more than 80,000 total bookmarks...
Those numbers really do look good.
Especially for a story set solely in the world of Demon Slayer.
Whenever I think back on it, I still remember before I started the book.
I chatted every day about our new books with another guy who wrote about Lu Mingfei in every book and flopped every time.
Back then, I thought that if this book could reach an average of 3,000 subscriptions and qualify as a premium title, that would already be pretty good.
After all, before starting, I had looked at other books of the same type on Qidian.
Among pure Demon Slayer novels, only one, "Sekiro Tanjuro," had achieved the best results.
As for the others, basically not a single one had reached premium status-the realm of 3,000 average subscriptions.
Then, during my first week, the author of "Fujimaru Ritsuka" also started a Demon Slayer novel... I was trembling inside.
It felt like a big shot had come to crush me.
But through all sorts of coincidences, it was a small fry like me who ended up achieving something.
